Thanks to spotter Lynn who alerted me to a flock of gannets feeding in the mouth of the river. Actually, there are quite a few collective nouns for gannets . Known variously as a company, a gannetry or, and clearly this is the one we will use.....a plunging of gannets.

The Train of Bites. This shot of sheep feeding above Waterhead Creek has led to an informal caption competition. The initial winner was Susie with "The Train of Bites"
Although that does require knowledge of the local December entertainment "The Train of Lights". So I will still show off my entry......"The Sheepshank Replenishment."

Lots of building deliveries are done from the river and Warfleet Creek gets more that its fair share. This workboat MC-1 was carring some railings. Whilst it looks like the swimmer if waving a fist, the boat had slowed down a long way before. So, it's probably a wave of thanks.
